• Our manin interests are in cardiovascular disease and epidemiology
• We design, oversee and conduct clinical trials
• We give advice to various healthcare-related organizations
• We are involved in publishing and presenting research material concerning vascular medicine
• the investigational products usually involve new cardiovascular (arterial and venous) agents or new preventative strategies
• These are often industry or academic-sponsored and multi-centred
• Most of our work is carried out at London teaching hospitals
• We work collaboratively with other specialities including Haematology, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Vascular Surgery, General Surgery and Orthopaedics
